The Customer: A Commercial Facility in the Philippines
The Philippines has some of the highest electricity rates in Southeast Asia. For commercial users, the monthly bill can be brutal. Add unreliable grid power, and many businesses are looking for alternatives.
This customer runs a facility that needs consistent power. They also want to offer EV charging to their customers and employees. A diesel generator is not the answer – too expensive, too dirty.
Solar + storage + charging is the answer. And they are building it in phases.

What They Ordered (First 60kW Phase)
Inverters
5 units of 11kW hybrid inverters (total 55kW, close to 60kW)
Brand: Taiki Fung (our partner)
Each unit includes a WiFi module for remote monitoring
Battery storage
4 units of 51.2V 300Ah batteries
Total capacity: 15kWh per unit × 4 = 60kWh
Enough to store solar power from the day and supply evening loads
Cables and accessories
50mm² cables for inverter-to-battery connections – 15 pieces, 1 meter each
6mm² cables for PV panel to inverter connections – 200 meters total (red + black, 100 meters each)
60kW EV charger
One 60kW DC fast charger
For on-site EV charging – staff, customers, and fleet vehicles
The system is designed to work together: solar panels feed the inverters, inverters charge the batteries, batteries power the facility at night, and the EV charger pulls from solar during the day or from batteries in the evening.
Why They Chose Us
The customer looked at several suppliers. Here is what they told us:
First, we offered a complete package – inverters, batteries, cables, and the EV charger. One supplier, one shipment, one point of contact. They did not want to piece together components from three different vendors.
Second, our pricing was competitive. But more importantly, we were flexible. They wanted to phase the project – 60kW now, 40kW later. We supported that.
Third, we answered their technical questions. They asked about voltage matching, cable sizing, and battery compatibility. We sent diagrams and specs. They felt confident.
The Next Phase: 40kW to Complete 100kW
Once the first 60kW is installed and running, the customer will order the remaining 40kW. That will bring the total solar capacity to 100kW – enough to cover most of the facility's daytime load and charge the batteries for evening use.
They are also considering adding more battery capacity later. 60kWh is good for the first phase. But with 100kW of solar, they could store more. We will quote them when they are ready.

What This Project Tells Us
First, Southeast Asia is moving. The Philippines is not just a market for cheap solar panels. Commercial customers want integrated systems – solar, storage, and EV charging together.
Second, phased projects work. Not every customer can pay for a 100kW system upfront. We supported a 60kW first phase. That got the project moving. The rest will come.
Third, our product mix matters. We sell inverters, batteries, and chargers. That means we can quote complete systems. Customers like that. One supplier is easier than three.
A Note on the Equipment
The inverters and batteries in this order are from Taiki Fung, one of our manufacturing partners. We work with them because their quality is consistent and their specs match what our customers need.
We label everything with our CHUHAN brand and model numbers. The customer receives a unified set of products – not a mix of different brands.
The EV charger is our own 60kW DC fast charger. It is the same model we ship to Europe and Southeast Asia. Compatible with CCS2 and other standards. The customer will use it for on-site charging.
Where We Are Now
The equipment is packed. The shipment is scheduled. We are coordinating with the customer's local electrician on installation documents.
Once the system is running, we will ask for photos and performance data. If the customer agrees, we will share them in a follow-up post.
This is not a future project. This is happening now.
For Other Customers in the Philippines
If you are reading this and you have a commercial facility in the Philippines – or anywhere in Southeast Asia – we can do the same for you.
We have the products. We have the certifications. We have the experience shipping to the region.
Tell us your load. Tell us your roof space. Tell us if you want EV charging. We will design a system and quote it – in phases if you need.
